Skills:
1: 100% effective, 1 x strength, 1 x technique
2: 125% effective, 1 x strength, 2 x technique
3. 110% effective, 1 x strength, 1 x technique
4&5: 100% effective, 4 x strength, 1x technique
8: 50% effective, 1 x strength, 1x technique
6&7: 25% effective, 1 x strength, 1x technique

Weight:
1&3: 100% effective
2: 75% effective
4&5: 75% effective
8: 50% effective
6&7: 25% effective

How it works: the skill multipliers are just proportions really for how that skill is used for the player, and then the overall effectiveness is applied. So for example, locks strength is 4 x more important that technique is.

Hopefully this provides a lot of help making sure we put the right guys in the scrum. As well the max bonus is applied if the pack can outweigh the other one by 150kg (which gives a 5% bonus max).

Scrum Penalties! - Make sure you minimise the impact this can have!
a) props of different heights? cuts in at 15cm
c) hookers shorter than props? cuts in at 25cm
c) hookers taller than props? cuts in at 5cm
d) locks of different heights? cuts in at 15cm
e) front row taller than second row? cuts in at 0cm! So make sure those locks are taller! (Though it is averaged out)

There is also a bonus of up to 5% if your front row is lower than the other one, but to be honest, as it has an effect on the lineout the other way around, it's not something I would concern myself with. It takes a 25cm difference in pack heights to realise this full advantage, but at the same time, it is something you should be mindful of.

Thanks, very helpful.

I am confused as to what you mean with "cuts in with xxcm"?

Are hookers supposed to be at least 25cm shorter than props or not 25cm shorter than props or is the penalty only after 25cm or are they supposed to be taller?

The scrum penalty kicks in if your hooker is 25cm or more shorter than your props, etc...
