This section is for those managers who have been a big part of ZIM, but are no longer with us.

10/02/2011 - Dark Ranger
Today is a sad day indeed for all Zimbabwe managers. The Kamikazi Samurais are as of today known as Umsweswe Devils, the replacement BOT side.

DR was one of the most popular and well known managers in Zimbabwe throughout season's 9 and 10, as shown by his appointment as the first ever manager of the Zimbabwe National Team. After a difficult start, results were picking up, when unexpectedly and without reason he resigned as manager, and has not been heard from since...

He was successful domestically as well, winning promotion to the South African top flight in season 3 after winning division II.1.

DarkRanger also managed third place finishes in both of the Zimbabwe first two season's in addition to finishing runners up in the National Cup last season.

DR you will be sadly missed, and all in ZIM hope that one day you will return.

10/03/2011 - Phibeon
As one of the original blackout rugby sides, Dreams were formed by Phibeon in South Africa. They proceeded to win division III.16 in their first season, followed by 8 seasons in league II.2 winning the league on two occassions. Then came perhaps their worst season with relegation in season 8 to division III.12.

This could be seen by some as part of the reason why phibeon decided to relocate to Zimbabwe where he was an instant success. Division I.1 was won by Dreams in the first season, this was the crowning glory of phibeon's career and as such he possibly felt that his job was complete, as the next season they finished second, before his mass clearout. Phibeon announced his impending departure to the Zimbabwe community and whilst we held out hope that he would return, the inevitable happened and Dreams have become BOT.

Dwells

Whilst not as successful as the others within this list, Dwells had a big role in the formative seasons of BRZIM. His club side Marmalade Warriors were a constant threat at division 2 level, and even had a one season stint in the top flight. The thing that he will be most remembered for will be his decisions to play Like There's No Tomorrow in every game of the season. R.I.P Dwells
