Anyone got this?

Despite the criticism it is a great game. In fact looking at reviews of the supposedly superior rugby game that has also come out, it is the better one.

Hard mode on PS3 rules. It is an actual challenge. Doesn't make the gameplay more realistic, but much more challenging.

The consistant fun is in multiplayer, but single player gives you £30 worth imo

Yeah, but I remember in 08 lineouts you liftthe front man the whole time and you just PnG on the blindside until you get a linebreak and win 100-0 on Elite, plus Wilkinson could kick 22 to 22 which made that overpowered too, which makes me a bit tentative to buy it

The gameplay is similar but it is more difficult to 08.

The long kicks certainly still play a part, especially when you are up against a better outfit.

I have spoken to lots of people and you are the only person who says. There is massive dissapointment surrounding RC from what I gather, the gameplay has a ridiculous number of glitches. The only thing that saves it is the number of competitions

I haven't found any glitches. I find that World Cup is polished version of 08.

If you ago nd click on playstation network, I'm sure you just take it from there to sign up. Then when you log on afterwards it puts you online automatically.

I use a wireless network

Just got this on xbox and have to admit that it is a little limited. I like games to have a little depth to them and while I know the main focus of this game is the WC, it would have been nice to have other areas of the game that could be user defined. e.g. setting up set-piece moves, lineout and backrow moves would have been good as well.

But if all you are is after is a game of rugby, then you cannot go far wrong.

Jonah Lomu is a little disappointing to me as well, although a wider range of competitions are available, the game is a little "unilateral" to me. But hey. it's all about the game, GLORIOUS RUGBY!!! cheers

Both

Why - To show there is a market for a rugby game on console so they continue to develop them and improve them in the process until they eventually make a rugby version and sequel to the standards and with the same level of effort they have with Fifa and Madden etc...

Its not as easy as that, I am not made of money (wanted to say that) I want to be fifa 2012 as I love it and am still playing 2011, and might get CoD over a 2nd rugby game if money allows. So which one?

Definitely get Rugby Challenge instead, it would surely keep you busy a LOT longer than RWC and it also has it's own WC mode!

AND, definitely save your money for 11 November for CoDMW3, it is going to be epic!!!!!
