So, with the start of the new season comes election time.. with manager awards, player awards and voting for the new NT coach and journalist positions.

Any hot tips for success out there?

Well it depends who is running for the posts, but I would tip Sean or Mattt to go for the NT position though it is too close to call between them.

As for the journo's position, I am thinking you Fatman. You would do an excellent job in the role, which is the role that imo holds Zim together as a community.

The other awards will be posted in the Zim clubroom tomorrow for the official voting, but I do have a sneaking suspicion as to who the winners may be Wink

I think Matt will get the NT role, his reputation is too great even for a battle for the spot

I would like to run the NT again, but in truth this weekend thinking about it I am not sure I will. I will decide this evening, but I am just not sure. I am so peed at the game in general I probably just need to to blow over.

Whatever happens, good luck to all!

Yes because people are going to vote for the town idiot Sean over Matt who has been cup winner several times and did well as NT manager before Razz

The majority will make their decision on the campaigns Sean. You are a good manager and it will be won or loss on the campaigns. National cups count for nothing when it comes down to international management.

My vote can be bought.

Seriously; the standard of managers in Zim is pretty awesome. Anyone putting their hat in the ring is likely to be taken very seriously and the campaign and their dedication/enthusiasm is likely to be the deciding factor.

To be fair rambling is one of my strengths and it will play a big part in taking the Zimbabwe NT forward...... affraid

Mbax has gone for it too. Good luck!

I think you will do well at journo if you get it. Good luck. I wonder who else we will see putting their name forward this week.

These elections have been really tough to decide (apart from the journo one-horse race). We are just missing two things:

Firstly some crazy foreign newby wanting to be NT manager
And secondly.....no talk of toilet paper (what's going on, you can't be NT manager without incorporating loo roll in your election speech!!)

Seriously though, good luck to all candidates, I am confident that all of you will do a great job!
