I have a little problem atm , my squad is very settled right now so i want to concentrate on the money making side of things .I've shut down my academy and my finances are looking better .Still i would prefer if i made a profit every week even without any home games?. Any tips or is this virtually impossible.

At the moment i lose 47k when i dont have a home game and i'm up roughly 200k with a home game

looking at your team i can honestly say i see no way for you to make a profit before a game unless you sell 2 or 3 of your high wage players and that would be counterproductive. a profit of 150k over two week is nothing to spit at.

Like sean said, if you have shut down your academy, the only other cost saving measures are reducing the number of players in your squad. But then you run the risk of not having enough energy and having to pay fines when players get injured. Other than that win more games, increase member contentment, which will bring in more members, but that wouldn't give you enough money as each new member only brings $35 per week.

I have taken a look over your setup and I would advise you to upgrade your Corporate seating in your stadium. You currently have only 60 Corporate seats and with you member numbers being around 2000 (i am guessing) I would recommend that you upgrade this to 225.

The cost of this would be $190k, but it should give you an extra $30k on your gate receipts.

As for your day to day running costs, aside from downgrading your training facilities (counter productive in my mind) I cannot see a way for you to gain the extra $47k that you need to break even. However if you did get rid of all your trainers (not your coach) this would save you $40k a week (lvl4's), though of course it would cost you money to rehire them in the future so you would not really start to see a return for 13 weeks.

Hope this helps, but to be honest I think you are already running a very tight ship Smile

I hadnt thought of upgrading my Corporate seats thanks for that one Smile I'm training two 17 year olds and Du Randt so losing the trainers is not an option but i will cut away at the ones i dont use

okay guys, im going to need some advice on my stadium. I havent changed it in a good few seasons and I think I could do with the extra cash.
my current layout is:
Standing: 0
Uncovered seats: 3450
Covered seats: 2600
Member's seats: 1000
Corporate seats: 200
Total capacity: 7250

I have 1606 members at the moment. What should I do?

Looking at your current setup you really do need to spend a little cash in order to get the best out of your stadium.

At a conservative guess I would look at upgrading your stadium to the following:

Uncovered seats: 5,250 (+1,800)
Covered seats: 4,150 (+1,550)
Member's seats: 1,150 (+150)
Corporate seats: 200
Total capacity: 10,750

This would set you back $475k, but would give you an increase of around 45K a week (if you sell out).

Hope this helps.

I've looked over both these games but am yet to see a reason for losing both by such a margin as both looked pretty close statistically. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Sean, just noticed no-one had replied to you. The first game looks quite clear to me, he dominated up front with the number of turnovers he had, particulalry when considered the respective amounts of possession. In addition to this, you didnt make any linebreaks, which I suspect is due to choosing the wrong attack combined with your low attack skill.

The second game is more difficult to say, as you didn't have these two key areas. But looking at it, your opponent scored all of his linebreaks, so I think picked the right attack against you.

Anyway I hope this helps some.
